Fear takes away the good life. I have seen friends lately who on vacation, have gone on Zip Lines and had so much fun. While I was on vacation recently, I saw the advertisements for these and thought to myself “No way am I going up on one of those”. Too scared to try! How much life do we forfeit by being fearful – can’t go to Sunday School because I am afraid of looking stupid; Can’t be Worship Leader because of the fear of reading in front of people; Can’t say yes to being a deacon or elder because of fear of being up front. We miss out on so much by having a spirit of fear. Jesus said, “Fear not, for I am with you…” Isaiah 41:10
