Spring is here…that means time to prune those shrubs and roses. To look the best that they can be, they need trimming. We Christians need to be pruned in our lives so that we can be the best that we can be for our Lord. We need to prune that branch of jealousy, or that twig of gossip, or that little sprig of bad thoughts that pop into our heads. When God does the pruning it is always to make us more of whom he wants us to be – to bear fruit for Him.
“Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit, He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit, He prunes it so that it may bear more fruit.” John 15:2
