It has been a busy summer of camps, conferences, VBS, pool parties, softball games and lots more – all capped off by a wonderful Disciples Together weekend. The Labor Day parade is next Monday (there’s still room for you to pass out water bottles or ride on our float) and next Wednesday, all our children’s, youth, and L.I.F.E. groups resume their regular meetings!
I want to encourage you, if you’ve never been a part of a L.I.F.E. group before, to seriously consider finding a place where you can “plug in.” In addition to all of our regular Wednesday night groups, we also have groups that meet during the week – and, of course, our ongoing Sunday morning L.I.F.E. groups, as well (see our new L.I.F.E. group brochure).
This year, I’m going to be trying something new. Every Wednesday night, I’ll be leading a group in the fellowship hall called TableTalk. It will be a time of Bible study and wide-ranging discussion for anyone who wants to come, immediately following Simple Supper. If you haven’t already found a group – this could be a great way to make an investment in your spiritual life.
